The Toastmasters Club of Dwarka is one of the latest chapters of Toastmasters International (TI), a worldwide nonprofit educational organization with more than 210,000 members in over 11,000 clubs in approximately 90 countries. TI has 52 such clubs in India, six in Delhi.A Toastmasters Club typically consists of 20 -40 members. The club meets on a regular basis (weekly or fortnightly) to practice various skills useful in public speaking, including giving speeches, speaking extemporaneously, and listening. The distinctive feature of Toastmasters is the continual evaluation. Each of the speeches made in the meeting is evaluated; in some clubs even the evaluations are evaluated in the full presence of the audience. All evaluations are based on the parameters set by TI which are also provided in the TI manuals.The advantages of being a Toastmaster
